What song was in doctor who last christmas?11/14/2022 ![]() ![]() The confusing and creepy nature of the episode continued where "Listen" left off, playing with all the unsettling concepts that Steven Moffat has come to love-our perception of time and space and what's real and what's not and whether that even matters-and he did so with an ambiguous villain slightly resembling the terrifying Silence. The episode's focus on Clara and the Doctor made "Last Christmas" feel like an extension of Season 8 rather than just a one-off themed special, and therefore it was the most enjoyable special after the great "A Christmas Carol." It capped off the characters' season-long journeys while setting us up for next season, and it did so in a way that felt like a warm and shiny present on a cold winter night-if your presents include villains who are only scary when you think about them. Plus it allowed the series to include the mythical figure it needed to accomplish its unbelievable tasks while steering clear of any religious territory (which is probably a good idea for a series so heavily steeped in science, even if it's often more magic than science). The decision to employ Santa gave the episode-which was actually pretty creepy and uncomfortable-a jolt of cheer and whimsy, which made for a purposefully unsettling adventure as the two opposing themes came into conflict. Is seeing believing? Or is believing seeing? Is it neither? Or is it both? This year's annual Doctor Who Christmas special tackled faith and the very essence of the Christmas celebration in typical Whovian fashion while also attempting to mend the fractured relationship between the Doctor and Clara in the wake of the events of "Death in Heaven." And because it's Christmas, they had a little help from Nick Frost's delightful Santa Claus and his two equally delightful and witty elves (I smell a new spin-off!). ![]()

Roland spd 30 fd9 as kick pad11/14/2022 ![]() ![]() Adding four-on-the-floor kick patterns to solo guitar or cajon performances has never been easier. The SPD::ONE KICK contains 22 internal sounds, including a variety of kick drums and stomp box sounds, making this the ideal pad in the SPD::ONE range for playing by foot. Kick and Stomp Box Sounds Specially Selected for Playing with the Foot Whether you’re a drummer, percussion player, guitarist, DJ, or vocalist, the SPD::ONE KICK is a simple and flexible way to expand your sound palette and invigorate your performances. Operation is simple, even for those musicians who are not technical just by using four knobs on the control panel, you can change the sound, volume, balance, and more. Powered by batteries or AC, the portable SPD::ONE KICK can be used on the floor or a tabletop, or mounted to any rig or drum setup with the included adapter. Once you’re ready to go, the SPD::ONE KICK’s robust-yet-sensitive pad can be played with sticks, hands, or feet, and trigger threshold settings are easily adjusted with intuitive controls. It contains 22 realistic percussion sounds, including kick drums, stomp box, shakers, cowbells, and more, and you can even import your own original audio data into one of the 12 internal sound banks. I must add my other favourite accompaniment is my Boss DR01s, a great simple automated but natural feeling accompaniment. The Roland SPD::ONE KICK is a new type of digital percussion pad, one that allows any musician to add genuine kick drum and percussion sounds to their performances. I feel it is overpriced for what it does but it seems unique in what it offers. I rectified both issues by building a wooden block with floor grips that supports my heel and sets the pedal face horizontal - so it's like tapping on the floor. Its soundly made - although suffered from usual slippage and footangle problem. Its got many different sounds but around 3 are good for me, - a nice solid thump but with a realistic 'shhh' to it & a touch of reverb. This pedal is exactly what I was looking for - a simple but realistic squelchy bass thump thru the PA. My application, by the way, is to accompany my guitar/mic/sometime harp for solo performance. Theyve all had varying degrees of success, but theyve all had misgivings. I've used Trio's, Sdrums, Finhols, a cajon with backbeater. ![]() I've made & bought stomp boxes based on wood & microphonic devices. Over the years I've tried all kinds of drum devices from Alesis, Korg, Beatbuddy. Its a bit pricey, but for me it really works. Still though I really like the product other than the few cons. They should have wrapped the rubber around the front of the device which I think would worked better. * It's hard to know where to put your heel as if you have it on the ground you can't really get as good a sound out of it compared to if you hit it full on. * I at times amn't that accurate with my foot placing and end up hitting the knobs at the top therefore changing the sound/effects mid song which is a hassle. Also it slides up towards my mic-stand too which triggers the sound which is annoying. * I find it hasn't got good grip on the ground therefore it slides away from me mid-playing at times which will need to be sorted out. The sounds you get are very effective however I may have been better with just a regular stomp-box as my partner has one and it actually sounds better than this (obviously you don't have the variation options with a stomp box but you're splitting hairs with the variations any way). Used in an acoustic/live setting: It's good. I think it's quite expensive so I hope it will last awhile. This product has no competition as far as I am concerned. These pedals all tend to slide away as you stomp on them by the way. ![]() I find that for stomping kick drums with my food less sensitivity (less dynamic range) is way better and easier on the foot. This one has the EQ and reverb (even distortion), and you can even adjust the sensitivity so there's no need for a compressor. The others I always had to EQ a lot to make them sound decent, then add reverb, compressor. ![]() I love that unlike the others that I've had, this one you can just plug and play. For a long time I was hoping someone would make something like this. This pedal feels very solid and is the best kick stomp box I've had by a very long mile. I use the kick drum sound when I play gigs. I play guitar and sing and this is my third and so far final stomp box (sorry drummers and percussionists!). ![]()

Pokemon x pc box11/13/2022 ![]() ![]() The trick is that you should go duping while the duping works good. Theoretically, you could also use it to clone Legendary Pokemon, so that you only get one one playthrough.ĭon’t expect a Nintendo to let this glitch stick around for long. This glitch might help you make copies of Pokemon you wish to keep, but may be useful for trading. You can see in Kevinfor5’s video how they managed to transform a Magikarp into a Manaphy, which is a big upgrade. The trash Pokemon will be replaced by the Pokemon that you’ve just checked. Finally, check out the resumé of the Pokemon that you want cloned. Next up, register the “trash” Pokemon and then add the Pokemon that you want to clone. You can also upload and share your favorite Pokémon PC desktop wallpapers. Now select one Pokemon you want to clone, and another that will be sacrificed to do that cloning. Tons of awesome Pokémon PC desktop wallpapers to download for free. His presence is just proof that the glitch was working. If you do not take any choices, the number of errors in your game will be wiped. The number of errors in your PC can be withdrawn. One is unable to use these Pokemon, but it is necessary to complete this process. Then, speak to the daycareer and pick the Pokemon B, but swap Box 1, and 2, while Pokémon B is selected. ![]() Then register the Pokemon A for the Battle Team. Make sure they are not in one spot, but there are two different boxes (the right side of the main building is an excellent place to start). You want two PC boxes, the Battle Box and the Day Care woman.įirst, put the Pokemon A in the box 1 and the Pokemon B in the box 2 – and first, put the Pokemon A in the box 2. Kevinfor5 is a French game developer who knows how to clone any Pokemon you’ve already seen in your inventory. Related: Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Ruin Sinnoh’s best Gym Leader. Some Pokemon fans have discovered a glitch that lets you pity a game’s code.Ī good warning, this glitch requires you to sacrifice a Pokemon to become a clone, and then you’ll have a chance to crash the game. There have been several years before the game is completely tested. Now, the box system would have been nice when HM's were a thing, but there's really no need for it anymore with Pokeride and the special techniques you can do nowadays.Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl have gone out for a few days now and there is already a lot of Pokemon masters that have defeated the Elite Four and conquered the Sinnoh Region. It forces me to commit to a team I want with me. It's just easier to locate and less of a mess, and 2. Personally, I'd just want to keep the pc box back at the pokemon center too because 1. Keep the organization stuff from the new box that lets me find my highest level Pokemon and junk so I can release any that are just kind of rotting away, but keep the box and Pokepelago system from Alola that lets me arrange my teams and shinies by boxes and allow my others to do random stuff in the background. A lot of my Pc Pokemon are pokemon that I just can't organize because I can't remember where I keep where, so I'll just some caterpie or rattatas in there that I don't really want or need but never remember to release. Now to be fair, I'd down for marrying some of the aspects of the new system with the old. It doesn't make sense why I'm suddenly able to have every single Pokemon I have with me, and in future games it'd be a clustered mess with my. ![]()

Weightlifting fairy kim bok joo vostfr11/13/2022 ![]() ![]() Joon-hyung’s hoobaes bring his laundry to him, and his roommate suggests they all go out to eat. Uncle Dae-ho grumbles that that cheap guy doesn’t even buy any chicken, but Bok-ju tells him to hush, because that guy is Jong-seok, pride of Haneul Sport University and member of the national shooting team. Bok-ju demands to be paid for working, but Dad snaps that he pays her in chicken.Ī voice calls out for more popcorn, and Bok-ju runs to the window to see a handsome customer smiling at her (cameo by Lee Jong-seok). The chicken restaurant is bustling so Bok-ju arrives to help out, but Dad tells her to go back to school. Nan-hee is jealous that such a good-looking guy hangs around Bok-ju, but Bok-ju says he’s too infuriating to even be eye candy. Nan-hee tells Bok-ju that he’s only teasing her to get a rise out of her, and Seon-ok reminds her that she started it by accusing him of being a pervert. Joon-hyung just grins, crowing that teasing her is fun. His roommate bows to Bok-ju respectfully, and reminds Joon-hyung that she’s a weightlifter. Buddy, you’re the cutest, but you deserved that.Īpparently he doesn’t learn his lesson, because he calls her Chubs again as she’s leaving. ![]() She beckons him close, closer, and he leans down… and she headbutts him hard. Bok-ju tells him to stop calling her that, and he nods agreeably, “Sorry Chubs.”īok-ju motions Joon-hyung to come over, and he cheerily refuses several times before finally moving towards her curiously. Later, Bok-ju makes a wish at the fountain, and of course Joon-hyung wanders past and hollers, “Oi, Chubs!” And then he actually pants like an excited puppy, anticipating her reaction. Good grief, he’s like a big bouncy annoying bunny. He continues to needle her on the track while their teams jog, running backwards and refusing to leave until she gives him a high-five. Bok-ju hears, “Hey Chubs!” again, and there’s Joon-hyung, who teases her for eating so much then gives her his yogurt drink and his roommate’s. The girls tuck into lunch in the cafeteria with gusto, while the rhythmic gymnasts look on in horror. He compliments her wide shoulders before moving off with a cheerful grin. She puts her head down and tries to scoot away, but he stands in front of her so that she head-butts his chest. She’s got excellent instinct, because soon “Hey Chubs!” rings out across the quad. Nan-hee angles for an introduction and Seon-ok tells her to give it up, but Bok-ju shushes them both and says she’s got a bad feeling about this. He accepts her apology, and gets in one last dig: “See you again, Chubs!”īok-ju’s friends are way more excited that she went to elementary school with the handsome swimmer than she is, and she whines that he’s much too tall and cool now. She nervously thumps him on the arm, and he thumps her right back, and she makes her escape. She remembers him, though she’s decidedly less excited about it, and calls him that skinny kid who ran in the wrong direction. He startles her by calling her by name, having figured out where he knows her from, then calls her by her old nickname, “Chubs.” He smirks while Bok-ju apologizes again for accusing him of being the pervert and washing his handkerchief. ![]() Joon-hyung jumps back in to give her a shove, then tosses her a towel to dry off. Joon-hyung hops out, but the sodden Bok-ju flings herself at the edge of the pool several times with no luck. They stare at each other for a long moment before he dryly asks if she’s going to let go, and when she does and starts to sink again, he tells her to stop flailing and stand up. In the present, it’s Joon-hyung’s turn to save Bok-ju from drowning in the college pool. They sit up and Bok-ju spits the entire piece of bread at Joon-hyung’s face, then they both laugh. He falls right on top of Bok-ju, who catches him, and the two tumble to the ground in a heap. She shoves the entire thing in her mouth, just as Joon-hyung’s classmate startles him and he tumbles out the window. The boys gripe at him as he cleans the classroom windows later, while down below, little Bok-ju bets her friend that she can eat a whole piece of bread in one bite. But when it’s his turn, not only does Joon-hyung drop the baton, but he proceeds to run in the wrong direction. Joon-hyung attends the same school, and his relay team warns him that he’d better run fast so they don’t lose. It’s 2005, and it’s Field Day at Bok-ju’s elementary school. It’s no wonder these kids are confused, with all the pressure they have to face - it’s hard enough being an elite athlete without adding unexpected romantic feelings into the mix! Old entanglements return while new infatuations blossom, and everyone is looking in a different direction. Love is in the air, though I doubt either of our young lovers knows it yet, and perhaps not in the configurations we were expecting. 117 NovemNovemWeightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-ju: Episode 2 by LollyPip ![]()

![]() ![]() 64 GB to keep it a kosher as possible with 98's installer. All I needed was a special adapter to go from the slim laptop IDE form factor to the regular desktop form factor. All the benefits of an SSD without messing with SATA patches or a PATA to SATA converter. Mixed reviews online about their reliability but so far it's been working great. Apparently these were made for some high end ThinkPads back in the day. Now I get temps in the 90 C range.Īnother technical oddity in this build. Cleaned out the used grease with WD40 and left it at that. I guess years of spinning upside down will dislodge it slowly. They had to be popped back into their correct position by squeezing them into the shroud. The fan's bearings were also worse for wear. After that fresh paste was applied and it was benchmarked again. I had to soak the blocks in acetone to get all the epoxy off. Very carefully, I removed the epoxied thermal blocks and cleaned off any residue on the card and blocks. I was getting temperatures of above 110 C. While the electronics were fine, the original thermal paste was way past its prime. When it first arrived I benchmarked it to see if it was defective or not. This was a requirement for the NFS games and Thief. I edited the 45.23 Nvidia drivers to work on this card to maximize compatibility as well. I went with the FX series over the 6000 series for better game compatibility. Caught it on eBay when looking for GPUs on a whim, I don't want to say how much it was. This is the second fastest FX series GPU you can buy, the fastest being the liquid cooled variant of this card. They're actually clocked to 533MHz since I read that this chipset's memory controller seems to prefer 533MHz over 667MHz. In an effort to avoid patching, I'm sticking to 512MB of RAM to keep it kosher. With only a single core ever active the temps are very low, around 50 C, even when running Prime95. With a pretty small TDP, I have an ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU cooler. A QX6800 would automatically downclock my motherboard's FSB by 5%, but since I'm only using one core I could feasibly raise the FSB back up, and get that sweet 8MB cache. This motherboard's FSB overclocks pretty poorly, and an X6800 can be expensive. Highest single core performance without overclocking that this board supports. They may work with rlowes patch, and maybe works in RAID mode with RAID drivers, haven't tested it. The on-board audio isn't supported (I'm using a sound card anyway), and neither are the SATA ports. Technically it doesn't officially support Windows 98, but the VIA chipset has 98 drivers, as well as the NIC and USB 2.0 (Woo fast transfers).
